Feed ads in Reels
Square feed ads cropped into Reels and Stories look out of place, get covered by the interface and get skipped.
Instagram ads · Senior growth team
Reels, Stories and Feed campaigns for apps, ecommerce brands and games. Vertical creative from our team and creators, judged on installs, purchases and revenue, not likes.

The short answer
An Instagram ads agency plans, makes and runs paid campaigns in Instagram's Reels, Stories, Feed and Explore placements for a business result such as installs, purchases or subscriptions. Because Instagram ads are bought in Meta Ads Manager, the work covers vertical creative, creator and UGC ads, catalogue ads and Conversions API tracking. At Admiral Media, an official Meta partner, one senior team owns creative, buying and measurement.

The problem
Square feed ads cropped into Reels and Stories look out of place, get covered by the interface and get skipped.
One or two creator videos cannot carry a budget. Without a steady supply of new UGC, the same faces wear out.
Reels, Stories and Feed get judged as one number, so budget keeps flowing to placements that do not pay back.

Talk to Our TeamAgency, in-house or both
Many of our clients keep an in-house team and use us for creative volume, new channels or a second opinion.
| Admiral Media | In-house team | Generalist agency | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reels-native creative | Vertical video made for Reels and Stories | Depends on in-house design capacity | Often resized feed ads |
| Creator and UGC supply | Briefed creators plus AI UGC, tested in batches | Ad hoc, when someone has time | Often outsourced or left to you |
| Placement reporting | Results split by Reels, Stories, Feed and Explore | Full view if analysts have time | Often one blended Meta number |
| Measurement | Pixel, Conversions API and MMP set up first | Depends on your engineering time | Often platform-reported numbers only |
| Cost structure | Retainer or % of spend, no lock-in | Salaries, tools and hiring time | Retainer or % of spend, terms vary |

How we work
A monthly management fee, either a flat retainer or a percentage of media spend, kept separate from the budget you pay Meta. At Admiral Media there are no budget minimums. You get a scoped quote after the first call, once we know your markets, your goals and how much new creative you need.
No, we have no budget minimums. What matters is enough budget for each ad set to finish Meta's learning phase, which depends on your cost per install or purchase. We size the first test with you on the call rather than quote a fixed figure, and we say so if Instagram is not the right next step.
Expect a first readable result 2 to 4 weeks after launch, depending on your conversion volume. Ad sets go through Meta's learning phase first, and we avoid edits that would reset it. Creative tests then need enough spend per variant to separate real winners from noise.
Organic posting and paid creative are different jobs. Posts build the brand; ads need a steady flow of vertical variants with direct hooks, tested against cost per install or purchase. Many clients keep their social team and use us for paid creative volume, creators and buying, with both teams sharing what works.
Yes. Our creative team and AI Creative Factory produce vertical 9:16 Reels and Stories ads, carousels and statics in regular test batches. We put the hook in the opening seconds, keep text clear of the Reels interface and add captions for people watching without sound. We can build on your brand assets, creator footage or app store screenshots.
Yes. We brief creators for UGC-style videos, cut each one into several hooks and lengths, and test them as ads. When a creator posts the content, partnership ads let you run it from their handle, which fits naturally into Reels. When you need more variants quickly, AI UGC fills the gaps.
They are bought in the same place, Meta Ads Manager, and share one Pixel, Conversions API setup and audience data. The difference is creative and placement: Instagram leans on Reels and Stories, so vertical video with a fast hook matters more. We usually let Meta place ads across both, then check results by placement and build creative for where the spend goes.
Against your own numbers, not likes or reach. For apps we use an MMP such as AppsFlyer or Adjust, with SKAN for iOS, and judge cost per install, trial or subscriber. For ecommerce we use the Meta Pixel with the Conversions API and judge ROAS and repeat purchases. Results are also split by placement, so each one earns its budget.
