Short answer
Run a Story Ad. Story Ads place a branded tile in Snapchat's Discover feed that opens into a set of 1 to 10 images or videos. In Ads Manager, choose Automatic Placement or Discover Feed for the Story Ad.
Tile requirements
- Logo: 993 x 284 px PNG on a transparent background.
- Image: one 360 x 600 px PNG up to 2 MB, with a 175 px buffer at the top so the logo does not cover key elements.
- Headline: up to 55 characters with spaces.
- A tile is required when placement is automatic or in the Discover Feed.
What opens behind the tile
- 1 to 10 Single Image or Video ads, each up to 180 seconds and each meeting the Single Image or Video specs.
- Attachments: WebView, App Install or Deep Link.
- Tiles for App Install and Website attachments include a call to action button.
Single Image or Video ads with Smart Placement can also reach the Discover Feed without a Story Ad.
In practice
For apps and games, use the App Promotion objective with an App Install attachment, so the tile carries an install button. The tile is the first thing people see, so test a few images and headlines that show the app or gameplay clearly. Keep each story short and lead with the strongest moment.
