Practical questions
Which image sizes should I prepare for an App campaign?
Google recommends 1200 × 1200 square, 1200 × 628 landscape and 1200 × 1500 portrait images. Upload JPG or PNG files up to 5 MB. Prepare multiple shapes rather than relying on one landscape asset.
Are asset rules identical for install and engagement campaigns?
No. Check the documentation for your campaign type. For example, Google’s App engagement guidance specifies no text in images except logos, so an install campaign asset set may need changes before reuse.
